Robert and Richard Papini's first spark in the desire of motorsports comes from their father, when he restored a Ford Model A with all the original working drivetrain and parts. They enjoyed it until they went onto the freeway, and with a wide-open throttle, general traffic was blowing by them effortlessly. Robert and Richard did not like that and their father took notice, so he took them to their first NASCAR Race at Auto Club Speedway. From that point on, that fueled their fiery passion that they still currently have today.

Papini's Garage Racing started in 2018 when the twin brothers decided to open up their own shop and offer services to drag racing and road racing vehicles. At first, they were racing at drag events such as no-prep NHRA bracket racing and Match Race Madness. Then, in late 2020, Mike LaPaglia brought his Factory Five Cobra over to see if we could tune the car.
