Sonoma, California - April 2026 - Adrian Wlostowski and Compass Manufacturing International (CMI) are set to take on the next round of the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli as the championship heads west to Sonoma Raceway. With the season continuing to build, Wlostowski and the F.A.S.T. Auto Racing team arrive focused on turning preparation into performance at one of the most technical circuits on the calendar.
Following a hard-fought outing at Road Atlanta, the team has spent time regrouping and refining the No. 3 CMI Mustang in preparation for Sonoma’s unique demands.
At Road Atlanta, Wlostowski showed front-running pace throughout the race, holding a strong third-place position for a significant portion of the event. The No. 3 car was firmly in podium contention before a developing transmission issue began to surface.
As the race progressed, the problem worsened, ultimately forcing Wlostowski to manage a rapidly deteriorating gearbox. Despite the issue effectively taking the car out of podium contention, he fought through the closing laps and brought the car home in 16th place.
Throughout the early part of the season, Wlostowski has shown consistent pace and racecraft in the TA2 PRO field. Sonoma presents another opportunity to convert that speed into a strong result, with an emphasis on qualifying position and maintaining track position throughout the race.
The Sonoma event is expected to draw a deep and competitive field, with drivers looking to gain valuable ground in the championship standings. For Wlostowski and CMI, the focus remains clear: maximize every session, stay competitive throughout the weekend, and put the No. 3 Mustang in position to contend at the front.
