TRB Autosport & Jared Odrick Get Faster, Developing Competitiveness in the 2025 Trans Am CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series
April 30, 2025

April 30, 2025 — Monterey, CA — TRB AUTOSPORT, a persistent name in Trans Am racing, continues dedicating themselves to their TA2 Driver Support Program. Team Owner, Troy Benner’s history of engineering and guidance has provided a foundation destined for long-term structure within numerous competitive racing classes - with the TA2 platform as the main focus. At the center of this initiative is former NFL defensive end turned road racer, Jared Odrick, who continues his methodical climb through the Trans Am CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series in the striking Black Underwear/CoolBoxx Chevy TA2 Camaro.
This year, Odrick’s campaign is not built on dramatic podiums or viral moments—but on consistency, discipline, and constant refinement. Through a collaborative effort with coach Evan Slater & TRB AUTOSPORT’s crew and support staff, the team is placing an emphasis on incremental performance gains and race-long execution.
“This program isn’t about overnight success,” says TRB AUTOSPORT founder and team principal Troy Benner. “It’s about creating a sustainable path for talented, driven individuals to grow in the TA2 space. Jared embodies that philosophy—he’s deliberate and focused and it’s starting to show in the data and the results.”
The TA2 Driver Support Program offers full-service engineering & data analysis with a focus on helping drivers who may be entering the sport from unconventional paths. Odrick’s route—from gridiron to grid—has brought fresh eyes to the paddock, and his presence has quickly become a source of curiosity and respect within the paddock.
“Every race is a lesson,” said Odrick, reflecting on his 2025 season so far. “We’re not here to make noise—we’re here to learn, develop, and get faster. The car’s strong, the team is locked in, and we’re taking it one corner at a time.”
The #100 Black Underwear/CoolBoxx Camaro, with its unmistakable matte black/white/gold livery and understated branding, has become a symbol of Odrick’s approach—focus on what’s happening under the hood before the images of social media.
Leaving Sonoma Raceway this week, The CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 series rolls right into Laguna Seca in their only back-to-back weekends of the season.
TRB AUTOSPORT and Odrick’s story offers a compelling contrast to the teenage-drama narratives often seen in TA2 - but rather a man with a second competitive opportunity on a redemptive mission. In a series where youth & hundredths of a second matter, their quiet, structured climb might just be the most disruptive approach of all.
