TA2’s Kyle Kelley Fastest in Practice for Thunderhill Season Opener

Michelle Nagai Fastest in XGT, Greg Pickett Quick in TA, David Hampton Tops GT
 

WILLOWS, Calif. (March 1, 2024) – Practice has concluded for the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli Western Championship’s season-opening event at Thunderhill Raceway Park. Kyle Kelley in the No. 80 PK+k Properties/UPRacing.com Ford Mustang topped the speed charts in the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series with a time of 1:48.974.

Michelle Nagai in the No. 72 Nagai Racing/Berkeley Jet Drive Chevrolet Camaro was fastest in the competitive XGT class, Greg Pickett in the No. 6 Pickett Racing Ford Mustang was quickest in TA, and David Hampton in the No. 14 AR Motorsports Porsche Cayman GT4 CS MR topped GT.

Qualifying for the season-opener will take place tomorrow at 9:25 a.m. PT. Race 1 of the Thunderhill SpeedTour will be contested tomorrow at 12:10 p.m. PT.
