Road America and the second half await Paul Fix

TEAM NEWS - Williamsville, NY – (August 24, 2016) This week’s visit to Road America begins the second half of the 2016 Trans Am series schedule of racing. For Paul Fix and the #50 Stopflex/ClassicTube/CarCoach/Techron Corvette the stop at America’s Speed Park provides the opportunity to secure more necessary points in pursuit of the championship. Fix rest solidly inside the top ten and looks to better his placement.
“There are six races remaining,” said Fix. “The team and I view this as our chance to move forward in the standings and put forth a very solid second half.”
Fix thus far has been victorious in two of the six completed events. More wins and podium results will ensure that the team remains in the hunt for the 50th anniversary champion’s trophy.
“We’ll keep at it. Our determination to be champions is as strong as ever,” said Fix. “My crew has once again put their heads down and worked hard in preparation for this weekend. I am proud of their level of intensity and commitment.”
Fix looks forward to what remains of the season. The team and series will now see tracks that well suit Fix’s technical style of driving.
“The next few races will see us at some of the great natural terrain road courses,” offered Fix. “I’m looking forward to getting back track and doing my job of driving into a championship.”
