Paul Fix Returns To Trans Am for the Memorial Day Classic at Lime Rock Park

Paul Fix will enter the 2022 Trans Am by Pirelli race at the Lime Rock Park’s Trans Am Memorial Day Classic in Lakeville, CT. Fix will be racing the #77 StopFlex.com/ClassicTube/Car Coach Reports, Jaguar XKR-S, supported by Tony Ave Racing.
Fix comes back to the series with the same determination where he mastered the historic track. Winning for three straight years in 2013, 2014 and 2015, Fix will look to do it again. Paul is currently ranked 16th on the Trans Am Series all time win list.
“It’s great to be back at one of my favorite tracks and on such an important weekend when we remember and honor the people who have sacrificed while serving in the United States Armed Forces,” stated Paul.
“While the Lime Rock Park track layout is one of the shortest courses the series will compete on, it still presents sufficient challenges to master.”
“The fans are fantastic here at Lime Rock and they have been supporting the Trans Am Series here since 1968. I’m sure we’ll put on a great show for the fans on Monday.”
“At Lime Rock we will entering the new TA Heritage Championship class and will be racing a significant chassis, a Rocketsports Jaguar from the early 2000’s in fact this is the same chassis that won the Trans Am championship in 1999 with Paul Gentilozzi driving.”
The official weekend starts Friday with on track testing alongside SVRA. The TA race wraps up the four-day race weekend on Monday with qualifying starting at 9:05 a.m., culminating with a 100 miles or 68 laps feature starting at 11:55 a.m.
