Loshak and Raybestos Powertrain Mustang ready for Round 2

Loshak Racing made its Trans Am Series TA2 debut last month at Sebring International Raceway, and despite a new car, new rig, and a track driver Lawrence Loshak had never driven (other than on XBOX’s Forza Motorsport), it was a solid debut that netted a 3rd place. Now the series heads to Homestead-Miami International Speedway, and the team is aiming to build on the momentum from Sebring, and put the #5 Raybestos Powertrain/Loshak Racing Ford Mustang on a higher step of the podium.

Round 2 of the 2015 Trans Am Championship is the first of many races this year that celebrates the phenomenal growth of the TA2 class by having a separate, standalone TA2 race. With a dedicated event for this class comprised exclusively of the iconic Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, and Dodge Challenger, the race promises to define exciting while properly showcasing the popularity of these cars racing wheel-to-wheel.

“I’m really excited to get back into the car. After Sebring, we were able to bring the new car home and let the Loshak Racing team work their magic,” said Lawrence Loshak. “With all the changes we’ve made to the car, plus being a track that I know well, we’re confident we can race our way to the front and hopefully put the Raybestos Powertrain Mustang in Victory Lane.”
