GRR Racing Heads to Sonoma

(Las Vegas, NV) - The Grr Racing team heads to the 4th round of the Trans Am West Coast series at Sonoma Raceway this weekend.  The team has prepared for the race during their time off since Laguna Seca and has high hopes for good results in the race.

Driver and team owner Michele Abbate was last at Sonoma Raceway for the 2018 SCCA National RunOffs where she made her debut in the event and earned a podium finish in the GT-1 Class - becoming the youngest female to ever make the accomplishment.  “I love this track,” Abbate explains, “it is extremely technical and the thrill of trusting the track being on the other side of its blind corners is an unexplainable feeling”.

The TA2 West Coast series continues to grow and have more eyes on it with each race throughout the season.  This weekend’s event has 13 entries for the TA2 class alone.  “It is so exciting to have the Trans Am West Coast series alive and thriving.  Trans Am features the best road racing in America and it has my dream to be out there racing against these guys and I am really excited to see how we stack up against the field,” Michele says with a smile.
