Dream Racing Australia Secures New Facility and Targets Expansion
Dream Racing Australia has emphasised its future targets by securing a state-of-the-art facility in Melbourne as it targets an expansion of its operations.
The Victorian-based motorsport squad, led by owner Craig Scutella and experienced team personnel including Team Manager Kim Jane and crew chief Cameron Fisher, will move into the new facilities next year located in Knoxfield, situated east of Melbourne.
Featuring dynamometer and engine building facilities, the new workshop is a major coup for the squad as it targets an expansion into new categories for 2024.
Dream Racing Australia will start the move from its original base at Calder Park to Knoxfield over the Christmas break in preparation for its attack on the 2024 Trans Am and TA2 Muscle Car Series.
Dream Racing Australia has been a leading contender in the pair of TA2-based competitions, having won the 2021 Trans Am title with Nathan Herne as well as a string of race wins and podiums.
While the team is committed to the two TA2-based categories and look to add more championship remains Categories on the radar for the squad include the RX8 Cup, Toyota GAZOO Racing Australia 86 Racing Series and the Tyrepower V8 SuperUtes, which all place emphasis on development.
The team will remain committed to the National Trans Am Series, which it won with Nathan Herne in 2021 and the TA2 Racing Muscle Car Series where Jackson Rice finished third outright this season. The outfit ran up to four entries on many occasions this season displaying its capacity to expand in these two categories as well.
Dream Racing Australia will release further news on its 2024 campaign in the new year.
