Connor Mosack Tops TA2 Practice at Road America

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (July 1, 2022) – Practice is complete for the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli’s TA2 class at Road America. Last week’s polesitter Connor Mosack in the No. 28 High Point University/Nic Tailor/SLR-M1 Racecars Camaro had the fastest lap of the session with a 2:11.602.

Last week’s race winner Thomas Merrill in the No. 26 BridgeHaul/HP Tuners/Cope Race Cars Ford Mustang was second fastest with a time of 2:12.184. Misha Goikhberg in the No. 20 BC Race Cars Mustang was third with a 2:12.315. Austin Green in the No. 96 Fields Racing/M1 Race Cars Camaro was fourth with a 2:12.409, and William Sawalich in the No. 8 Starkey/Audibel/SLR/M1 Race Cars Camaro rounded out the top five with a 2:12.679.

Qualifying for the TA2 race will take place on Saturday, July 2 at 8:10 a.m. CT. A live stream of the Road America track jumbotron feed can be found here.

The TA2 race will be contested on Sunday, July 3 at 10:30 a.m. CT. The race will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network, and will first air on Sunday, July 10 at 2:30 p.m. ET, with an encore presentation later that evening at midnight ET.
