Chris Dyson Fastest By Two Seconds in Watkins Glen Practice

David Hodge Quickest in XGT, Kaylee Bryson Tops SGT, Joey DaSilva Best in GT

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (August 24, 2024) – Practice has concluded for the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli at the Mission Foods Watkins Glen SpeedTour. Chris Dyson in the No. 16 GYM WEED Ford Mustang topped the speed charts with a blazing-fast lap time of 1:43.914, more than two seconds quicker than second place Adam Andretti (No. 17 Top Liner/Castrol Chevrolet Camaro) and his 1:45.917.

David Hodge (No. 10 Kaizen Autosport Lamborghini Super Trofeo) was the quickest XGT competitor, laying down a lap time of 1:52.180. Kaylee Bryson (No. 02 Logical Systems Inc./Sam Pierce Chevrolet Corvette) was best in SGT with a time of 1:55.184, and Joey DaSilva (No. 67 Ave Motorsports Toyota Supra) topped GT with a time of 1:57.459.

The TA/XGT/SGT/GT race will be contested tomorrow at 1:15 p.m. ET. The race will be broadcast LIVE on MAVTV and streamed live here. The highlights show of the race will air on MAVTV on Thursday, August 29, at 9:00 p.m. ET.
