Burtin Racing Sets Sights on Homestead-Miami Speedway

TEAM RELEASE - Homestead, FL – October 4, 2016 – The Trans Am series is ready to battle on the high-speed circuit of Miami-Homestead Speedway this weekend for Round 9 of the season championship. Burtin Racing and the GoShare Corvette are poised to bounce back with performance gains from recent mechanical setbacks and will seek a top finish from a competitive field.
The No. 7 GoShare Corvette C7.R will compete in the 70-minute timed Trans Am race this Sunday at 1:15 p.m. ET. The track features a NASCAR oval combined with an infield road course that consists of 2.3-miles and 11 turns. The quick straightaways produce 175mph top speeds and 20-degree banked corners.
“We are looking forward to heading to south Florida and getting on track at Miami-Homestead,” stated Claudio Burtin, driver and team principal. “I’d like to give a special shout-out to my daughter Bella who will be joining us at the event this weekend. Let’s hope for great weather and racing conditions.”
