Burtin Racing Heads to Sebring for FOAMETIX® 100 Trans Am Season Opener

Sebring, FL - February 23, 2015 – The stage is set at Sebring International Raceway for the FOAMETIX® 100 Trans Am season opener round this weekend, Sunday, March 1 for the kick off of the 2015 Championship schedule.

Seasoned racer Claudio Burtin will pilot the FOAMETIX® Corvette C7.R for the 100-mile race as part of a record setting weekend of entries for the Trans-Am series, breaking a 48-year record.

“With over 70 cars entered here this weekend, it’s going to make for a challenging Trans-Am race on Sunday,” said Claudio Burtin. “We will have to watch for traffic and yellow flags as they could play a huge role in the final result. Burtin Racing will partner with FOAMETIX® on board the No. 7 Corvette C7.R for the full 2015 Trans-Am Championship season. The schedule consists of 12 Rounds of action packed racing at North America’s most iconic road course circuits.
