Burtin Racing Announces GoShare Partnership Heading Into Road Atlanta

TEAM RELEASE - Alpharetta, GA – April 6, 2016 – The Atlanta based Burtin Racing team has announced a partnership with GoShare for the No. 7 Chevrolet Corvette in the Trans Am Championship. GoShare provides a truck or cargo van option for on-demand moving and delivery services. Burtin Racing will promote the GoShare application service as a primary team sponsor for the 2016 motorsport season.

“We are very excited about our new sponsor GoShare and to be able to spread the word about this innovative application service for moving and hauling items of all sizes short distances,” said Claudio Burtin, team owner and driver. “The team is looking forward to Road Atlanta and it’s always good to be nearby the race track. The weather can be tricky here this time of year so we’ll be keeping a close eye on that!”

Founder and CEO of GoShare, Shaun Savage, is a New Jersey native who has relocated his home and GoShare headquarters to San Diego. New Jersey and San Diego are the primary markets providing GoShare services currently in the United States.

“GoShare is pleased to announce our partnership with the Burtin Racing team,” said Shaun Savage, Founder and CEO of GoShare. “With our shared love for motorsports and a mutual desire to win, we believe that Burtin Racing will help GoShare win the race to be the leader in the on-demand truck space.”

Claudio Burtin heads to Road Atlanta coming fresh off the podium at Sebring International Raceway where he scored his best Trans Am Series finish to date – an impressive drive to third place from starting tenth on the grid. The team has their sights set on car setup and preparations for another solid race weekend at the Road Atlanta circuit.

The second round of the Trans Am Championship is set for this weekend at Road Atlanta. Qualifications will take place on Saturday, April 9 at 3:20 p.m. EST. About GoShare:
GoShare connects people who have a truck or cargo van with people and businesses nearby who need help moving, hauling and delivering large items on demand. GoShare Inc. was formed in 2014 by founder and CEO Shaun Savage. Shaun’s house painting business regularly needed a delivery service so that he didn’t have to leave the job site in the middle of the day to refill supplies. There was no such service back then and whenever Shaun had to leave the job site unsupervised he found his team to be unproductive. Some time later Shaun tried to buy a big screen TV from Costco but it wouldn’t fit in his car. After spending several hours renting a truck to bring the item home he knew there was a problem that could be solved using technology and the sharing economy. GoShare’s mission is to empower people to help people by sharing their trucks and vans. By promoting collaborative consumption we believe that we can make the world a better place. GoShare Drivers are independent contractors who earn money using their own vehicles and lending a hand to people in their communities who need their help. All GoShare drivers must pass a background check, vehicle inspection, and training before they can start driving with us. GoShare carries a cargo insurance policy to protect the items that we are carrying for our customers. The company is based in San Diego, CA and operates throughout San Diego county and parts of New Jersey with plans to expand internationally.
