Boris Said back at Road America with Monster Energy and Weaver Racing

TEAM RELEASE - Boris Said here at Road America again with Monster Energy driving this relatively new Weaver Racing Concepts T/A machine.

This is our third time out with the new design in Trans-Am this year and I'm really enjoying it. Pancho Weaver and the team worked quite hard this last week preparing our wounded race car from Mid Ohio where we soldiered on from a first lap wreck to take a Podium finish third place. I am very pleased to have Monster Energy back supporting us here at Road America. The monster look stands out and is quite iconic with the fans. The Spectators have been great welcoming  me here back at the Trans-Am series and they remember me driving for Monster in the Nascar Cup Series. Pictures and autographs are almost non-stop with the fans but I love it. I so much enjoy driving these Trans-Am cars. Unbelievable handling and awesome Dodge Penske power in this new Weaver Dodge

 Challenger design. Without a doubt this is the finest Trans-Am race car I have ever driven. The best handling and very forgiving with such a driver feel from the car it helps me be consistent.

Such a great package Pancho Weaver has assembled here in my office on the track. Trans-Am is a huge part of my past and I'm ready to take the green flag here today starting  from the 3rd qualifying position. Look for us in the Winner's Circle here today for I am ready to take it home here at Road America..
