Archer Ready to Rock on the Streets at Nashville
August 3, 2022

Dylan Archer and the MMR/FPEC Racing Group are eager to return to the track after a month off, for round 9 of 12 in the 2022 Trans Am TA2 season, stopping this weekend in Nashville, TN. After leaving Road America with an 11th place finish, Archer finds himself just 4 points outside of the top 10 in points and 3rd in the Wilwood rookie standings. The Trans Am TA2 series will be sharing the streets of Nashville with IndyCar this weekend, as part of the 2nd running of the Music City Grand Prix.
“Going into Nashville, we are optimistic and ready to make the last 4 races of the season really count. We were able to utilize the time off to make the necessary adjustments after some solid learnings at Road America. So far this season, our best finish was at Charlotte, and I feel as though that track has some similarities to the street course here at Nashville – so I’m feeling confident heading in, even with this being a new track for me. FPEC (Food Processing Equipment Company) has a large presence and market in Nashville, and this marks our first race with Rambo Bikes – so we couldn’t be more ready for a solid performance and finish this weekend,” says Archer.
The schedule for this weekend’s events includes two practice sessions on Friday, August 5th, qualifying on Saturday morning and the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix 46 lap/75-minute race starting at 12:30p on Saturday, August 6th.
