Mike Cope Racing Brings Six Cars to Road Atlanta

Braselton, Georgia [March 21st, 2025]— After the opening round of the 2025 Trans Am Championship CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series the Mike Cope Racing Team heads to Road Atlanta with some momentum after Keith Prociuk took the Pro-Am win at Sebring and carries the points lead into Round 2!

MCR is back with a full banner of race cars including Thomas Merrill, Keith Prociuk, Jim Gallaugher, Tom Sheehan, Will Robinson, and Valenti?n Aguirre. In addition, 17 of the 33 total cars on the grid will be Cope Racing Chassis at Road Atlanta.

At last year's race at Road Atlanta Thomas Merrill brought home the overall win for the team and he's hoping to repeat behind the wheel of his new No. 26 HP Tuners / Franklin Road Apparel / Cope Chevy Camaro this season.

Valenti?n Aguirre had a great debut with the MCR team at Sebring with a very solid 12th place finish and hopes to continue improving this weekend at Road Atlanta! The CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series is loaded with talent and Valenti?n did a great job acclimating himself to the car and series so quickly. 

Tom Sheehan, Jim Gallaugher, and Will Robinson all had some misfortune at Sebring and have been excited to get back on track at Road Atlanta in hopes of securing better results! 

The weekend kicks off with Friday testing and then practice and qualifying on Saturday. The race is set to take the green flag on Sunday March 23rd at 1:45pm ET for 40 laps of TA2 racing.
