Julian DaCosta Joins Nitro Motorsports for 2025 Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli Season

First Race to Take Place at Sebring International Raceway This Weekend

February 19, 2025 – Nitro Motorsports is excited to announce that Julian DaCosta will be joining the team for the 2025 Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli season. DaCosta, a talented and rising star in the motorsports world, will compete in the growing series alongside Nitro Motorsports, the two-time defending TA2 championship-winning program.

The team has a great reputation, and I can't wait to get behind the wheel at Sebring,” explained Julian DaCosta as he shared his excitement about joining Nitro Motorsports. “It’s a fantastic opportunity, and I’m looking forward to making the most of it this season.”

Throughout his career, Julian has earned several accolades in both sprint races and endurance events but as he continues to climb the ranks of professional motorsports, DaCosta is poised for an exciting future. With Nitro Motorsports by his side, the 2025 Trans Am Series season could be a defining moment in his career, as he aims to secure victories and podium results and assist Nitro Motorsports to their third straight championship-winning season.

The Sebring International Raceway is one of the most challenging and historic tracks in North America. Occupying a portion of the Sebring Regional Airport in Central Florida, the bumpy circuit provides great racing but also challenges drivers and their equipment to the max.

Tucker continued, “Julian is part of a multi-driver program this season as we look to carry on where we left off from last year, which saw us earn at least one podium in every series event and our second consecutive TA2 title.”
