Hard Charging Tomy Drissi Pushes the Limits at Virginia International Raceway

- Drissi Motorsports cars finished 2nd and 4th in round 9 of the Trans Am Presented by Pirelli Championship at VIRginia International Raceway.
- Tomy Drissi piloted the team’s Lucas Oil, Mav TV, Franklin Road, and Mission Foods Chevrolet Camaro from the last place position to a 2nd-place finish.
- Keith Grant piloted the Drissi Motorsports Camaro to a 4th place finish.
Drissi Motorsports fielded two cars at round 9 of the Trans Am Presented by Pirelli Championship at Virginia International Raceway. Tomy Drissi took the spotlight after starting from the rear of the field to a commanding second-place finish after charging through the field. After a solid third-place qualifying, Kieth Grant found the limits when pushing for the lead and lost a few positions and .
This marks Drissi Motorsports 6th podium and the team’s 13th top-5 finish for 2024.
"VIR didn’t disappoint this year. We qualified well but ended up starting last. It took nearly the entire race to battle back up to the top, even nearly going off track to avoid a car spinning out in front of me. I’m glad we were able to get on the podium again and bring home the P2 position.” said Drissi. “I’d like to thank all the fans who always turn out at Road America, Lucas Oil, Mav TV, Franklin Road, and Mission Foods Chevrolet Camaro for being a part of all of this.”
