Drissi Motorsports Starts on the Pole at Lime Rock on Memorial Day Weekend With Trans Am

- Tomy Drissi with Drissi Motorsports’ Lucas Oil, Mav TV, Franklin Road, and Mission Foods Chevrolet Camaro qualified pole in the rain with a time of 57.888 seconds
- This is the first pole the team has seen since Drissi Motorsports acquisition of assets from Showtime Motorsports
- Drissi finished the race in 4th giving the team their fifth top 5 of the year
Tomy Drissi started the Lime Rock Park SpeedTour from the pole in the Drissi Motorsports’ Lucas Oil, Mav TV, Franklin Road, and Mission Foods Chevrolet Camaro and finished fourth giving Drissi Motorsports the 5th top 5 of the year. This is evidence of the reliability and consistency that Drissi is building upon.
“Thank you to Trans Am, everybody here, and the whole Drissi Motorsports team. It's Drissi Motorsports now, but that guy, Ken Thwaits, built this thing from scratch, and he's still here as team principal. To him and all the boys and girls on the team, thank you so much.” said Drissi “I want to say hi to my family at home, Lacy and Elin. Jagger's here with me for the first time, just the boys. I also want to thank MAVTV, Lucas Oil, Franklin Road and Mission Foods.”
