Archer Aiming High for Charlotte; c3controls Returns as Marketing Partner

MMR Racing, Food Processing Equipment Company (FPEC) and Dylan Archer will continue their partnership and momentum for this weekend’s race at Charlotte Motor Speedway and next week at Road Atlanta, following February’s top 20 finish at Sebring. Archer will make his 3rd TA2 start, behind the wheel of the #0 FPEC MMR/FPEC Racing Group/c3controls Ford Mustang, which has a dramatic new look from Sebring - sporting new livery in a red, white and blue paint scheme. Additionally, c3controls returns as an official marketing partner and rejoins the Trans Am TA2 series and partnership with the Archer family, since 2016.
Archer’s Sebring weekend may not have ended the way he had hoped but the 2022 Wilwood TA2 Rookie contender did leave with experience and confidence including completing top 10 lap times throughout the weekend.  “We didn’t have the weekend that we were looking for at Sebring, but we learned a lot of positives to go on for the race at Charlotte. I really enjoyed my time at Charlotte last year with SVRA and I couldn’t be more excited to have FPEC back on board and c3controls joining at a bigger level.” Alan Davison, FPEC Owner, couldn’t agree more and said the weekend at Sebring confirmed his desire to continue the partnership. “We had so many positives to take away from Sebring and it was fun being a part of something with such great momentum, experience and success,” says Davison.

Geoff Taylor, President and CEO of c3controls, is proud to be supporting Dylan Archer heading into the Charlotte weekend. “We have sponsored the Archer Brothers racing and Dylan’s uncle Tommy since the early 2000’s. It is fantastic to see Dylan carrying on the great Archer family racing legacy and tradition. Dylan is super talented, and we are excited to see his career develop and flourish. We look forward to bringing customers to the races to see Dylan and the team working at peak performance, which is exactly what our customers have come to expect from the c3controls electrical control products. In addition, the great product quality, c3controls has the best availability in the market as we get products to our customers with speed and accuracy, just as Dylan performs on the track with speed and accuracy.”

In addition to the racing and normal business activities, c3controls has started a nonprofit charity, c3compassion, supporting underprivileged girls and children where c3controls has a manufacturing presence (El Salvador, India), as well as in Kenya, to obtain a quality education. This will begin to break the cycle of poverty and help their local communities grow and prosper. You can find more information at www.c3compassion.org.

Charlotte’s weekend schedule includes practice and qualifying Friday and the 45 lap or 75-minute race on Saturday at 12:40p – 1:55p Eastern Time.
