Team F.A.S.T is Laguna Bound!
April 27, 2021

New York–The team at F.A.S.T. Auto Racing is ready to head West for the third round of The Trans Am presented by Pirelli at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca next weekend April 30-May 2nd.
Shop and Team Owner Adrian Wlostowski said, “My No. 3 Hawk Performance, Howe Racing Enterprises, F.A.S.T. Auto, TA2 Camaro is loaded up, and we’re about to start the long haul to California. I’ve never raced at Laguna and I’m really looking forward to running on a track that has so much Trans Am history and, of course, the corkscrew.”
He added that he is “dead serious” about TA2 and is committed to develop both his car and his team.
“I’ll have some new crew members at Laguna, some of the team haven’t even met in person,” Wlostowski said. “I have to give a big thanks to the new group, I’m very excited to work with them. We’re all in this for the long haul and developing my team along with the car is what we need to do to run up front, and that is exactly what we intend to do.
“The first two races were a steep learning curve. We’re not new to Trans Am but we are new to TA2 and it is tough. We are starting to understand the nuances of setting up the car and what not to do. I learned when I went off track at Road Atlanta how easy it is to damage the splitter, and how difficult the car is to drive when you do.
“There are some really good teams that have a lot of experience and the field of drivers is top-notch. We’ve enjoyed TA2 so far. We will continue to learn and improve and get more competitive in the process. We were inside the Top 10 at Road Atlanta before I had my off. But, I ran for the championship in SGT and that’s what I want to do in TA2.”
Team F.A.S.T Auto will have lots of company with 38 TA2 cars pre-entered.
“If everyone shows up, this will be one of the biggest TA2 fields ever,” Wlostowski said. “It’s great that the series and TA2 especially has become so popular. I think TA2 is on the edge of really breaking out. There is a lot of good momentum with the series and my team and I could not be happier to be a part of it.”
You can follow all the action on the Trans Am app. Qualifying is on Friday May 1, and the race is on Saturday, May 2, and both be live streamed on the app.
“Be sure to join us. Qualifying is at 7:40 EST on Friday and our race starts at 4:30 EST on Saturday. I’ll have an in-car camera so tune in and ride along – it’s going to be fun!”
