Another Podium for the Lucas SlickMist Driver Tomy Drissi in Texas for the Trans Am Presented by Pirelli Championship

Austin, TX (November 5, 2020) – Trans Am Presented by Pirelli Former Champion, Tomy Drissi, locked down another 2020 podium this weekend at Circuit of the Americas in the Trans Am Presented by Pirelli Championship. Starting from the 4th position, the race wouldn’t be without its COTA drama where Drissi would complete the first lap in 7th position, only to work his way back to the front of the pack into 3rd before the half way mark of the race.
“COTA is such a great track, it’s always a good time. Boris and Ernie were able to run away at the start and I was really hoping for a caution or a just a few more laps to get another step or two up the podium. It was a strong race and a lot of competition and it is so nice racing with legends like Simon Gregg and Greg Pickett.” Drissi said in reference to their recognition to their monumental achievements in the Trans Am Series this weekend. “With the double header at Burtin Racing’s home track (Road Atlanta) next, the Lucas Oil SlickMist Camaro is going to worth watching.”
Going into Road Atlanta, Drissi a contender for the 2020 championship with four races left on the schedule.
