started drag racing a 1968 mustang fastback in 2006 and attended the Optima Ultimate street car race in 2010. Went to Skip barber racing school to hone skills on road courses for this event and was hooked.
Then continued the addiction with HPDE events with a national organization in a 2010 Z06 Corvette until I was ready for running time trials. Then I moved up to a NASCAR cup car to run time trials and won the southeast division for the unlimited class the first year.
I decided that I wanted the competitive action of door to door racing and started with the same national organization and over the years moved up to SCCA regional racing where I finished at the top of the field several years including winning the SPO class for the overlay V8 Road Racing series and the Southeast region.
After doing so well I decided to keep moving up and went to the majors where I won the GT1 class with a late model stock car chasis bodied as a Dodge challenger running spec GT1 tires and had so much fun I decided it was time to try the pro series with a real trans am car and here I am. We have worked hard to bring the Dodge Challenger back to TA level racing where I will debut it for the first time in close to 40 years.
