? M1Racecars driver Austin Green of Peterson Racing returned to TA2 Series competition for the first time since this year’s season-opener at Sebring (Fla.) Barry Boes, Driver No. 27 Accio Data/SLR-M1 Racecars Ford Mustang:
“Overall, it was a good, solid weekend. We were top-five in all the sessions before qualifying. I learned that my mindset in qualifying, where I’m usually so focused on making sure I don’t mess up, needs to shift more toward making sure I push some limits a little bit further. So we didn’t qualify as well as we tested and practiced. But in the race, there was a lot of moving around at the start and I got a little bit held up and lost maybe three spots, which I wasn’t super happy with. But I started working, kept my head down, made up spots as best I could, and got by everybody who had gotten by me at the start. And then I just worked my way up as much as I could and ended up with a very solid and respectable finish. Hats off to these TeamSLR guys for giving me the best car I’ve ever had here at Mid-Ohio.”
