  • 2019 Race Winner Rafa Matos Ready to Repeat
  • Road to Indy Driver Flinn Lazier Joins Silver Hare
  • Owner/Driver Maurice Hull Hungry to Fight for Masters Lead
Expanding to three cars for Road America, Silver Hare brings newcomer Flinn Lazier to the 14 turn course for round 4 of the 2020 TA2 championship alongside Rafa Matos and owner/driver Maurice Hull.

Joining the team for his first weekend in Trans Am – the 2019 SCCA Runoffs National Champion in Formula Atlantic – and current Road to Indy competitor – Flinn Lazier brings a winning pedigree into Silver Hare’s 3rd car – the #75 Tivoli Lodge Silver Hare Mustang.  Flinn has been moving up the ranks of open wheel cars the previous few years, winning at every level.  Bringing home back to back SCCA Runoffs championships in Formula Enterprise and Formula Atlantic, and has continued to develop in an extensive testing program in the Road to Indy.   Watch for Flinn to take his first laps in TA2 Friday morning practice.

Rafa Matos is ready for another great weekend at Elkhart Lake, in three years at Road America in Trans Am TA2 he has never started off the front row. Sitting on pole in TA2 as a rookie in 2017, Rafa has shown he enjoys the long straights and sweeping corners at the Wisconsin favorite, and is hungry to repeat his 2019 win from pole position in the #7 Silver Hare Racing Camaro and move up from his current 3rd place in the championship.

Studying video and going over track maps with Rafa, Maurice Hull is excited for his first trip to the 4-mile circuit.  “This place looks really fun,” said Maurice when touring the paddock on Wednesday night.  Sitting 2nd in the Masters championship by only 2 points, Maurice is ready to take the #57 Waukegan Farms ZL1 Camaro to the podium in TA2 Masters.
