SGT Champion Schweitzer joins TA2 class for 2022 Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli Western Championship.
After capturing the 2021 Trans Am West Coast SGT championship, Buckshot Motorsports driver John Schweitzer will join the TA2 class for the 2022 Western Championship season beginning at Thunderhill Raceway on April 9th & 10th.
“Earning the West Coast SGT Championship in our rookie season was a dream come true”, said Schweitzer. “We decided to move up our plans to join the ultra-competitive TA2 class and have been putting in the hours to prepare our Superior Builders Inc Mustang for the 2022 season. Our pre-season testing at the Ridge Motorsports Park was productive, the car performed flawlessly and now we can’t wait to hit the road to California for the season opener at Thunderhill. We are excited for what looks to be a great race weekend with perfect weather and a deep field of cars.”
