Ready to Roll

New York—Adrian Wlostowski and his F.A.S.T. Auto Racing team are ready to roll at this weekend’s round of The Trans Am presented by Pirelli at Road Atlanta. Armed with a new rig, F.A.S.T. has three cars loaded and ready as the team looks to step up their performance after their debut at Sebring.

Team Owner Adrian Wlostowski said, “After a tough weekend at Sebring, I'm excited to be back at Road Atlanta, which I loved driving in my SGT Mustang. On the other hand, my No. 3, Hawk Performance, Howe, TA2 Camaro, is a whole different animal. It’s proving to be a steep learning curve in setup and behind the wheel, but that is all part of it. We are progressing forward in all aspects and our Hawk Performance brake package has proven to be a real benefit.”

Joining Wlostowski for his first race of the year is Doug Winston in his No. 98, D&M Electrical Contracting, TA2 Camaro.

“Having a two-car effort at Atlanta will help us a lot. Having the data from the two cars allows us to compare setups and our driving,” Wlostowski said. “Having twice the information will definitely help us learn what our cars like and what it takes to run up front.”

Winston added, “I’m looking forward to getting back on track with Adrian and our F.A.S.T. Auto team this weekend. This will be my first time at Road Atlanta and I'm excited about racing the D&M Electrical Camaro at this iconic track.”

Back after finishing third in opening round at Sebring, is Mike Phillips in the No. 97, F.A.S.T. Auto Racing Chevrolet SGT Corvette.

Wlostowski said, “Our third car has also improved since Sebring. We went through Mike’s car completely and I am very happy with the progress we’ve made. I feel like we’ll be very fast right off the truck.

“We’re committed to Trans Am and our new rig is both a statement to that commitment and a great base for our team. It looks like weather will be a factor, but as a team we keep getting stronger and we look forward to great results from all three cars and drivers.

“The race is open to spectators and we hope to see a lot of fans of Trans Am at the track. ‘Speed Tour’ is a great concept partnering Trans Am and SVRA featuring some of the finest vintage cars in the world. There is also the Hagerty Car Show and, new for 2021, will be the US Formula-3 and Formula-4 presented by Honda Championships. With the park-like setting, almost non-stop racing, plus the car show, they will no doubt make a great weekend outing for the entire family.”
