PAUL FIX LOOKS FOR REPEAT PERFORMANCE AT LIME ROCK PARK

(Team Release) Williamsville, NY (September 17, 2014)- Paul Fix will make two appearances in the 2014 Trans Am Series Championship this season starting with the upcoming Lime Rock Park event, a race Fix won in 2013. Also on the calendar is the following race at Virginia International Raceway. Fix will once again take the controls of the #4 Stopflex.com/Tony Ave Racing Chevrolet Corvette. Fix and the team at Tony Ave Racing have had many successful races together.

“It will be good to get back into the Trans Am Series and especially to Lime Rock,” said Fix. “Lime Rock is the scene of my run to the front in the rain last season. This week’s weather calls for sun, so hopefully we can double down and get a dry win as well.”

While Lime Rock Park will mark Fix’s first Trans Am Series race of 2014, he hasn’t been sitting idly by. Fix has tested on numerous occasions in his personal Trans-Am car.

“The opportunity to reunite with Tony and his team was offered to me and knowing the quality of car Tony prepares, it was an easy decision to say yes,” offered Fix.

Tony Ave is anxious to get the weekend started. “Paul has certainly proven each and every time he gets in the car he is a threat to run up front and win,” said Ave. “We are pleased to have him back for these two upcoming events. I know we’ll see the #4 car at the pointy end of the stick.”

The Trans Am Series will practice Friday, September 19, at 11:40 a.m. EDT, then a second practice session at 2:50 p.m. and qualifying at 5:10 p.m. that day.

The 100.5 mile, 67-lap race will take place at 1:30 p.m. EDT on Saturday September 20.
