Motor City 100 awarded additional broadcast times on eve of premier 

90-minute special showcases Trans Am’s return to Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix 

MIAMI, Fla.  [July 1, 2016] – On the eve of the July 2, 12:00 PM eastern premier of the Motor City 100, presented by 3-Dimensional Services Group, on CBS Sports Network, the Trans Am Race Company has been informed the 90-minute special has been awarded five additional broadcast times by the network.  

“We are pleased by the feedback Trans Am has received from CBS Sports Network after previewing the show,” said John Clagett, President of the Trans Am Race Company.  “Their decision to increase number of showings helps us bring additional value to our partners and friends at 3-Dimensional Services Group and the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix and gives our fans more opportunities to view Trans Am’s historic return to Detroit.”

The show will cover both 50-minute Duals of the Motor City 100 with complete coverage of the Trans Am’s Series return to the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix after a 15-year hiatus.  That coverage also includes footage and interviews from Trans Am’s 50 Year Celebration dinner featuring Trans Am legends like Tommy Kendall, Jack Roush, Greg Pickett and more.  

The Trans Am Series will also be in action this weekend at Brainerd International Raceway for Round 5 of the 2016 Trans Am Championship, the Ryan Companies Independence Day Classic.  More information about this weekend’s action can be found here.
