JRi Shocks announces contingency program for Trans Am Series

MIAMI, Fla. (Jan. 25, 2015) – The Trans Am Race Company and JRi Shocks have announced an agreement that will see yet another addition to the existing platform of contingency programs available within the Trans Am Series.

The program will see JRi Shocks award a $500 product certificate to the fifth place driver in TA, TA2, TA3 International and TA3 American Muscle as well as JRI Shocks named an official contingency partner of Trans Am.

As an official contingency partner of Trans Am, JRi shocks will award a $500 product certificate to the fifth place driver in each class upon the conclusion of each event.

“JRi Shocks is a top tier parts supplier in motorsports with a track record of supreme reliability and quality and we are thrilled to have them onboard,” said John Clagett, President of The Trans Am Race Company. “That the Trans Am Series is capable of attracting and establishing programs with suppliers of this caliber, shows the progress the Series has made over the past years as we continue to grow our presence at the top of North American road racing.”

JRi Shocks, a suspension solutions company based in Mooresville, NC, focuses on creating high performance, high precision shock absorbers for racing—making the supplier a perfect fit for the grueling demands of the high-intensity race format used in Trans Am.

“We’re very excited to officially com on board as a series sponsor for 2015,” said Seth Fargher, Marketing & Communications Manager. “The Trans Am Series is experiencing growth while providing a professional and highly competitive opportunity for racers of varying skill levels. We have a number of drivers that we support involved with the series already and we hope to increase that number in the months to come. Getting involved with the series was just a logical move for us and we hope to see more racers making the switch to JRi Shocks as a result.”

The first round of contingency prizes awarded by JRi shocks will be determined from the result of The Foametix Trans Am 100 at Sebring International Raceway on March 1, 2015.
