Howe announces Long Haul Award for the Foametix Muscle Car Challenge

PARTNER RELEASE - TA2 competitor Joe Stevens has become the third winner of the Howe Racing Enterprises Long Haul Award and the first to do so driving a Dodge Challenger. The 1,175 miles from Eden Prairie, Minnesota to Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia narrowly edged out Tom West of Standish, Maine by only 16 miles.

This is the third of twelve $850 product awards that Howe will distribute this season. The two previous awards have gone to Washington States Jeff VanLierop and Minnesota's Tim Gray.

The Howe Long Haul Award goes to the competitor that is racing a Howe chassis who has traveled the furthest distance to compete in that event. Each team may only win the award once during the 12 event season. The next award will be following the May 23rd event at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut.

Howe Racing Enterprises was founded in 1971 and has been involved in the TA2 class since its inception in 2011. Howe produces a wide variety of specialized racing components in addition to partial and complete cars for asphalt racing worldwide.
