LAKEVILLE, Conn. (May 26, 2025) – Practice and qualifying have concluded for the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli Memorial Day Classic at Lime Rock Park. Chris Dyson in the No. 16 GYM WEED Ford Mustang set a new track record, laying down a qualifying time of 48.977. This is Dyson’s first Pole Award of 2025, and his third Trans Am pole at Lime Rock Park.

“This is fantastic,” said Dyson. “We've had just such a great week out here. We started off earlier in the weekend with the Winners Circle Project being here. We had six great schools from around New York State come out, in some cases get their first taste of racing, and it's just wonderful to be part of that. I think that set the vibe and the rhythm of the week for us. We were fast right away in practice; we rolled off the truck here and both cars were quick. That's continued through qualifying, so I'm hopeful that we'll have a great race today. It's sunny here, it's wonderful to be back at Lime Rock. It's just a special weekend every time we can be here, and my family's here, my parents. This is the kind of pressure we like. Get it done in front of the home crowd.”

Erich Joiner (No. 10 goodboyboy Coffee Roaster Porsche 991 GT3 R) was quickest in XGT, while Joshua Carlson (No. 36 Enseva/Diercks Ltd./TC Fab Ford Mustang) topped SGT. Maciej Tuniewicz (No. 29 New Granite & Marble Porsche Cayman S) was fastest in the GT class in his debut.

The Lime Rock SpeedTour TA/GT race will be contested today at 12:10 p.m. ET. It will be streamed LIVE on Trans Am’s YouTube channel, @TheTransAmSeries and broadcast LIVE on SPEED SPORT 1 with coverage beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET.
