CB Motorsports Carries Momentum into New Orleans

Bacon looks to improve on team’s best result
April 9, 2024 – Hot off the heels of their best result of the season at Road Atlanta, CB Motorsports is heading to ‘The Big Easy’ for the third round of the Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli. Bringing a pair of drivers to NOLA Motorsports Park, Caleb Bacon, and Jared Odrick will look to reset their best results of the season as they carry momentum into the next round of the competitive Trans Am program.
“We are coming into New Orleans on a high from our most recent event and look to build on the success,” explained Team Owner Chad Bacon. “While we are downsizing to two cars for this coming weekend, we still have the goal of increasing our effort to a three-car full-time program with a car prepped and ready to go.”
Heading into the New Orleans events, Caleb Bacon, fresh off his sixth-place result at Road Atlanta, will aim to reset both his and the team’s best finish of the season.
“We have had some issues in qualifying that have set us further down the grid than we should be,” explained Caleb Bacon. “If we fix that, we will be in good shape to contest for race wins and podium results as the season rolls along.”
“CB Motorsports has been nothing but instrumental in my race program and progress,” added Jared Odrick, former NFL player turned racer. “The speed has been there, and the improvement is happening with each session. I have personally reset my goals and look forward to a new challenge at NOLA Motorsports Park this weekend.”
With one of the most competitive race programs in the country and grids that are between 30 and 40 drivers each weekend, CB Motorsports, and the rest of the Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli will be on track Thursday for unofficial testing before practice and qualifying on Friday. The third round of the 2024 program will take the green flag on Saturday where Bacon and Odrick will look for the checkered flag.
