Burtin Racing Continues Northeast Swing with Trans Am at New Jersey Motorsports Park

Millville, NJ – June 11, 2015 – The Trans Am Series is set to break another record at New Jersey Motorsports Park this weekend with an entry list exceeding any previous Trans Am event there in the past, consisting of more than 47 cars. The 'Weekend Of Thunder' is presented by MPT Industries and will feature Trans Am action on June 13-14 with the MPT Fuel System Cleanse 100 set for 3:10 p.m. ET on Sunday as the 75-minute main event.

The FOAMETIX Burtin Racing team is ready to head to NJMP and raring to compete in Round 5 of this year's Trans Am Championship. After further development to the No. 7 FOAMETIX Corvette CR.7, the team looks for positive results after gaining ground at the past two events in Road Atlanta and Lime Rock.

"I hope the bad luck is behind us - the team is feeling positive going into the weekend here in New Jersey," stated Claudio Burtin, team principal and driver. "I've never raced here before so there is a big learning curve ahead but we are ready!"

Prior to the green flag start of the race, attendees of the event are invited to take part in the “Fan Walk” with the chance to get up close to their favorite Trans Am cars and drivers.

This is a great opportunity to see some very exciting racing, and NJMP has listed ticket prices at just $1 per day, thanks to their MPT Industries sponsorship. Follow this link for more information, click here.
