Archer Top 10 in Points After 7th Place Finish at Charlotte; Ready for Round 3 at Road Atlanta

Dylan Archer and the MMR/FPEC/c3controls Racing Group have great momentum heading into this Saturday’s Trans Am TA2 race at Road Atlanta, coming off a 7th place finish last weekend on the roval at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Archer, made his 3rd TA2 official start and qualified his Ford Mustang in the 9th position out of the 30 car field. The 22-year-old Texas native had some exciting on track battles and passes throughout the 75-minute race, resulting in not only a top 10 finish but a car without any battle wounds. The TA2 rookie has continued to improve session over session over the last 2 races and is eager to move up the charts at the Trans Am TA2 3rd race of the season, at Road Atlanta.
“We had a good showing at Charlotte and proved we belong up front to contend for race wins after our 2nd race as a collective team. Unfortunately, I had a stop and go penalty after avoiding action for a wreck, which caused us some time on the track – but that’s racing! We stayed focused and the team gave me a great car to work our way back up through the field. The improved results and my growing confidence race over race, makes me eager and excited for Road Atlanta. I want to thank MMR, FPEC and c3controls for their support and giving me the opportunity to represent them and their companies,” says Archer.

Dylan will be behind the wheel of the #0 at the famed 12 turn, 2.5-mile track with a Friday practice and qualifying session and the 40-lap race on Saturday at 12:50p – 2:00p Eastern Time.
