Andretti, TransAm Racing Gear join Hot Rod Power Tour

 TransAm Racing Gear will be setting up a Trans Am display on the Hot Rod Power Tour on June 7th

TransAm Racing Gear, ECC Racing, and Adam Andretti will be at the Champaign, IL, stop of the Hot Rod Power Tour to promote the Trans Am Racing Series, sign autographs, and provide Trans Am officially licensed merchandise.

The cruise night in Champaign, IL, is Sunday, June 7th, and will be at Parkland College at 2400 W. Bradley Ave. from 12 noon to approximately 7pm. Adam Andretti and ECC Racing will have Adam's TA2 car on display and Adam will be present from 4pm to 6pm to sign autographs. There will be a representative from the Trans Am Racing Company, as well as several other Trans-Am participants present.

HOT ROD Power Tour is the largest road trip in the world, with several thousand cars traveling to seven cities in seven days with great stops and cruise nights along the way that include massive amounts of manufacturer booths and local hot rods. The 21st running of Power Tour in 2015 is from June 6-13, starting in Madison, Wisconsin, and ending in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on a route that includes highways and winding back roads. Gearheads can join in at any point along the way; the exclusive Long Haul Gang includes the people who take the entire Power Tour route along with the staff of HOT ROD. Participants can sightsee, explore, and show off their cars in towns along the way and in each participating city, and spectators are free to come look at the massive Power Tour cruise scene every night!

Each cruise night you’ll see 1,000 to 3,000 local cars that have shown up to visit the 2,000 to 4,000 Power Tour cars, with 15,000 to 20,000 auto enthusist. There will be manufacturers set up showing off their latest parts and cars, autograph sessions with celebrities, giveaways at the main stage, and photo shoots with HOT ROD magazine and HOTROD.com
