XGT’s John Moore Tops Western Championship Practice at Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (July 26, 2024) – Practice is complete for the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli Western Championship at Portland International Raceway. XGT’s John Moore topped the speed charts in his No. 5 Central Welding Supply Ford Mustang with a best time of 1:13.775.

In the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series, National Championship competitor Barry Boes was quickest in his No. 32 Accio Data/TRB Autosport Ford Mustang with a time of 1:14.745. In his series debut, Tim Brown (No. 66 Brown Bros. Ford Lincoln Ford Mustang) was quickest in SGT with a time of 1:16.954 Steve Goldman in the No. 13 LIG Racing Chevrolet Corvette was fastest in TA with a time of 1:20.297.

Race 1 of the PIR SpeedTour will be contested tomorrow at 1:40 p.m. PT. It will be preceded by a Fan Walk on pit road from 1:05-1:20 p.m. PT where fans can meet drivers and see the cars up close.
