Summer Heats Up with Trans Am Bumper Weekends for Vixen LTK Team

Lexington, OHIO – June 19, 2024 – The Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course will host the Trans Am Championships presented by Pirelli and the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series this upcoming weekend, June 20 – 23. Teams will turn around and head to Road America, June 27 – 30, immediately to follow the action from Mid-Ohio. It’s a hot start to the summer for drivers and race fans alike.
Tom Sheehan and the No. 97 Vixen LTK Mustang are poised for a Pro Am championship run as the Series heads into the second half of the season. He currently sits in second place going into the Mid-Ohio event that is set to go racing this Saturday, June 22 at 12:40 p.m. ET.
“We had a great time this past week supporting our partner Vixen Cycle at the Laconia Bike Rally,” said Sheehan. “It’s good vibes and people that make what we do more meaningful. I am looking forward to racing at Mid-Ohio and a lot can happen there! The Cope car has been really good, and I am ready to get to work.”
Official practice at Mid-Ohio begins Friday, June 21 at 12:05 p.m. ET with two separate qualifications rounds starting at 4:50 p.m. ET. The track configuration consists of 2.258-miles and 13 Turns.
