Berkeley to start P3 in TA3i, Foametix 100
March 1, 2015

(TEAM RELEASE) Jason Berkeley, the current Trans Am TA3I Champion and 2014 Rookie of the Year, will be starting from the third position in TA3I at the Foametix Trans Am 100 in Sebring as the first step in defending his TA3I title in the team's Chevrolet Corvette C6R.
'Considering we've basically only had wet track time this weekend, and how different the car is from last year, we're pretty happy to be starting P3 after qualifying in the dry yesterday. We took a stab at where the set-up should be and got it really close right out of the box. With a few changes that we made based on what we learned in qualifying, we're hoping to be able to challenge for the win as the first step in defending our title,' team principal and driver Jason Berkeley said.
Now the big question that remains for the team, as for all others, is what the weather will bring this afternoon. 'We developed a really good rain set-up during the five wet sessions we've had over the course of the week, so we are prepared either way,' said team Technical Director Erik Johnson.
The team will next race at the second round of the Trans Am series in Homestead, Florida in April.
How to watch: The Foametix Trans Am 100 at Sebring International Raceway will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network on Tuesday, March 17 at 8:00 PM, EDT.
