Lime Rock Park Next Stop for Burtin Racing

(Team Release) Lakeville, CT - May 18, 2015 – The FOAMETIX Burtin Racing team will head to the northeast road course circuit of Lime Rock Park for The Next Dimension 100 scheduled as Round 4 of the 2015 Trans Am Series Championship.
Racing driver Claudio Burtin currently has a 10th place standing in the points chase coming into the event and looks strong to make up some ground from a mechanical setback at the FOAMETIX 100 in Road Atlanta last weekend.
“Obviously the team is disappointed with the result in Atlanta but now is the time to rebound and put our best foot forward,” stated Claudio Burtin, team principal and driver. “I haven’t been to Lime Rock Park in years and with no practice time it should prove to be an interesting weekend.”
The Next Dimension 100 is set to go green at 3:15 p.m. ET on Saturday, May 23. The official timed event will feature 75-minutes or 67 laps of Trans Am racing action.
Lime Rock Park consists of a 1.5-mile 7-turn asphalt course. Built in 1956, the venue has a loyal local following and attracts large crowds of sports car enthusiasts.
