JRi Shocks Renews Trans Am Contingency Program
MIAMI, Fla. [February 01, 2017] – The Trans Am Race Company (TARC) and JRi Shocks have announced the renewal of a key contingency program for the Trans Am Series, presented by Pirelli.
The program, originally instituted in 2015, has awarded thousands of dollars in JRi Shocks product certificates to Trans Am competitors over the course of its existence and has been one of the cornerstone contingency programs for all Trans Am classes.
“JRi shocks has been a valued Trans Am partner for several years now,” said John Clagett, President of The Trans Am Race Company. “We’re pleased to extend this partnership and to continue providing our competitors with the opportunity to showcase and earn the fantastic products JRi provides.”
JRi Shocks, a suspension solutions company based in Mooresville, NC, focuses on creating high performance, high precision shock absorbers for racing— making the supplier a perfect fit for the grueling demands of the 100-mile, high-intensity race format featured in Trans Am.
“JRi Shocks is happy to be back as an official sponsor of the Trans Am Series,” said Marty Flannery, JRi Shocks Market Manager. “We look forward to having a larger car presence on the track and an increased representation in the paddock.”
The first round of contingency prize for the 2016 Trans Am Championship will be determined upon the conclusion of the Trans Am 100 at Sebring International Raceway on March 5.
