Grr Racing Heads to TX for 100th Race Start with Trans Am

(Las Vegas, NV) - The Grr Racing team is headed to Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX for the final round of the Trans Am West Coast series.  The team has consistently improved their finishes at each round of the series and looks to do the same at this iconic track.

"I am so proud of our efforts and results in our first year with Trans Am.  This is a very new-to-us car, as well as the series, and even some of the tracks and I am looking forward to finishing our season as strong as possible," driver and team owner Michele Abbate says.  The event has over 30 TA2 cars signed up and Michele is still the only female to be competing in the series nationally.

"Although we have never been to this track, we have sights on finishing in the top 5 for the West Coast Championship for the 2019 season", crew chief Anthony Philleo states.  Abbate has an impressive road racing resume with 3 championships, a podium finish in the SCCA GT-1 National Run Offs, and even a finish at the iconic international track, Bathurst, on Mount Panorama in Australia.  According to her race results, Circuit of the America's with Trans Am will be her 100th race start and the team is already working on their 2020 plans.
